Sony Vegas Pro - .veg File Won't Open?

The file I try to open starts opening the project, but stops at 11%..

I've been waiting for about 10 minutes, and no progress has been made. The only problem I can see for this happening is having it on a USB flash drive, (which I do). The last time I was working with this file was 4 days ago, so I don't know what the problem could be. Any helpful tips would be appreciated.

Can you move it to the HDD and try opening it there?

Thank you for replying, but I've already figured out what the problem was earlier today..

It seemed like I just needed to restart my laptop.
