Our submission period starts now and will be open until December 1st! (12/1/19)

AMV Showdown, NSFW AMV, Saturday Morning AMVs (PG AMV Competition) and the Katsucon AMV Blender project are all returning this year!

We have updated the rules this year, nothing too crazy just getting rid of dead weight.

Hoping we get lots of great submissions! I'm making bumpers for this year's contest along with a few other editors on the Katsucon AMV team. Get hype!

Apologizing for the question, but does this "NTSC Only" rule applicable for nowadays?

We want to be sure that all videos are in a regionally standard format. So that any localised piece of equipment be it laptop, projector or television screen it is displayed on. As this contest is based in America NTSC would be the standard anything here would be optimised to play.
That was my thinking anyway, but this question made me need to make sure that this was correct. I found this article which I think supports the ruling and should help answer the question better than i could.

Hopefully this helps.
