PMMM Scary Love and Magia Record AMVs

Do you like dark, edgy Magical Girl scenes? The same scenes you've probably seen a 100 times, but this time with pretentious use of masks the AMV maker in his hubris thinks makes the scenes better than the original? AMVs that are under 2 minutes long because the creator decided to butcher the song and rearranged it to his own liking? Animated fanart? "Trendy" double exposure? Bizarre and slightly inconsistent use of sync? If you do, this AMV is for you! Hope you enjoy.

Do you like seasonal anime? AMVs that just use a single episode released a few days ago? An “epic” song that has already been used by very popular AMVs on YouTube? Custom scenes that were created and thrown in to arouse, bait, and/or confuse the viewer? Well this AMV is for you. Hope you enjoy.

Overall: Really thrilling watch! Visually it's nice.

The opening sequences is really good, it really does build up a lot of suspense however I find the effects at 0:41 to 0:43 to be a bit much, they're nice touches but could definitely be toned down a bit. I also find the transition to the clip at 0:41 a little jarring just because of the movements of the clips before were all congruous (the smokes / objects were all moving towards the screen) and the clip at 0:41 is very still so it was a bit jarring for me there. A little more consistency in terms of clip movements would be really nice.

Some of the moving lip flaps were fairly distracting - but those could be fixed with ease.

Aside from that, I had a good time watching it! The internal sync was pretty good, the use of effects were nice for the most parts.

Thanks for taking the time to watch and for the thoughtful remarks. I greatly appreciate it. Funnily enough that effect at 0:41 is actually in the anime itself. But yeah, I could have done a better job blending it with the prior scene. Thanks again!

Scary Love was pretty good. Short 'n sweet, satisfying sense of sync throughout. It's pretty much what you'd expect from these titles and this song but that's a good thing.

Ready or Not builds to a pretty impressive climax that feels earned. I can't really rate this one for personally reasons! But the editing is solid.
