Remember that really sexy Chris Isaak music video from the 90s? Ok now imagine it was GAY. Thats pretty much what I was going for

This was my first video project where I started with effects, then timeline. I wanted something with a "forgotten memory caught on VHS" kind of look, and stumbled upon some effects in Adobe Premiere that combined to look how I wanted.

I have never seen the original music video for this song so that's not really affecting how I'm perceiving this AMV.

I will say that the tone and the pacing of this video fits the seductive mood of the song in a really appropriate way. The effects seem to further wring out these feelings, not sure if that's because my earliest memories of this song are from the "VCR age" or what. Overall, I liked how slow this video was and how these shots were given room to breathe and seemed to benefit from the speed-adjusting effect(s) that you used.

End credits are cute but, while I'm sure it's a sincere cover of the song, it kind of feels like a dig at the seriousness of the video I just watched. But that's just me!
