Descendant of Dark(ness)
Ok I saw this Anime call Descendant of Darkness. When I search for it I got two differnt titles. One was Yami no Matsuie (Descendant of dark) and other was Vampire lure (Descendant of darkness.) The reviews and plot summary were basicly the same for both. SO Are the two the same thing or not?
Becuase I can only find Yami no Matsuie to download

They are the same show.
Yami no Matsuei has been licensed by Central Park Media. Currently the first 3 DVDs are available for purchase. The 4th and final DVD will be out in a few weeks. Support the companies who that take the time and money to bring anime titles out of Japan, and do not download them once they have been licensed.

The 4 DVD set that is comming out has extra "Bouns" items (a collector tarot card set, sketch gallery, trailer, music video etc) that was not included in the previous 3 DVD set. But its still only the 13 eps that were previously avia. No new eps..... is very sad... but must get collector set!!!!

Thank you EC for the spelling tips, my spelling is not great today due to extreme lack of sleep.
I know I can count on you to keep me in line.

As far as I know the manga has not been translated and sold in the US. I am still looking though with luck I will find some (or they may make some with the new box set release). The only ones I have found I have had to get translations for.
And yes the mangas take the story sooooo much further (the 13 eps) are only about maybe 1/10 of the WHOLE story and Im not even done reading them yet!

I don't think there's a problem with downloading an anime that's been licensed as long as you consider buying it. I downloaded an ep of Yami no Matsuei, and that is the reason I bought it. There's just some anime out there that looks good until you spend 30 bucks on a DVD, and find that it sucks.
Also, I discovered, in the 3rd DVd, there is a feature that lets you watch an entire episode with pop up info. (unfortunately, you have to listen to the english voice actors while you watch it). It even keeps score of all the unnecessary, suggestive touching and speech in the episode. Which is good, cuz this DVD is where Muraki tries to have a little fun with Tsuzuki.

Someone really fucking hates me. If you ever decide to show your face, please, pay me a visit. I’d like to introduce you to several obscene gestures.
