Sailor Moon with I Miss You by Björk. I think it started off as just a random idea of that bit when Rei tripped over a paving stone and got walked on top of, but it grew on me and now I think it’s a perfect match. The violent music lends itself very well to an AMV made up of quick successions of people falling over, turning into monsters or attacking each other, so I think it would be mostly slapstick and battle sequences. I can imagine plenty of specific clips and parts of the song that would go together, but I won’t bother going into any more detail.

The problem of course is that it’s so much harder to make a video from clips spread over a whole series rather than a movie, especially when they need to be very short and quick. If it has to be limited, which I think it should be, it would be to the very early episodes, simply because the song itself describes Ugi/Serena’s feelings at this point quite well. I won’t bother giving the lyrics here for people who don’t know the song as the music is much more important - try downloading the video or something instead.

Remember, this is just an idea and although it is possible, I don’t expect that anyone could actually be bothered to do it, although I would like to make a suggestion of using I Miss You for an AMV. SM was the first thing I thought of, but it could be used for almost anything and it would be interesting finding clips to use for the all the different sounds, which I think is why the original video was done with cartoon characters as well.
