Well thanks, but its just kind of funny when you see the vote differences, in some categories videos lost by like 5 votes, yet in mine its more like 400 lol. i didn't expect to win, and yeah i guess your right, crowd response really is the most important partdigitalgod wrote: what do you mean crushed? You did very well in that category. The crowd enjoyed it and that's what really counts right?

Yeah, like my video being 4 votes behind the place above me - if only I could have gotten at least a few of my friends to come with me this year (they all either had to work, or didn't have jobs and couldn't afford to come - what a catch 22!)BaHaRa wrote:Well thanks, but its just kind of funny when you see the vote differences, in some categories videos lost by like 5 votes...
I enjoyed the contest though, and I'm more than pleased with my results in it. I was a little surprised that the psycho-care bears (yes, yes, I know they were racoons) scored so I above my video in a serious/dramatic category, but I'm not complaining ^_^ AS has done quite a few awesome videos to get the rep he has.

Mine sure was! I don't think I've ever had such an adrenaline rush/was so nervous when my video started. It was like watching it again for the first time, but having vauge memories of putting the scenes together. ^_^digitalgod wrote:Jeez, did any of you guys out there had your heart pounding when your vid was shown? It was my first CON and I had no idea what to expect. It was all good though.
This was the second con I attended - and it was MUCH better than the first - at AFO2 they had problems with the projectors and I could barely see my video on the screen
Three cheers to Matt: for showing our AMVs on a screen as tall as my house, and speekers as tall as my office walls!
