the evil DivX logo

i would like to know how I can remove the DivX logo that pop's up while editing. is there an option for it in premiere, or do i have to do something with the source footage?

and also, when creating the video, can you turn the logo off when compressing with DivX?

Depending on what release you have, there should be a "Logo" option somewhere in the configuration settings, it says "Display Logo" or something. The little box next to it will be checked if you can see the logo. Uncheck it and restart the program.

well, i got premiere 6.5, and DivX 5.0.4 , but i can't find the logo tool.

we are talking about the window: project settings> video> (compressor DivX)> configure , right? i don't understand much about premiere

haha, no no. Go into teh start menu, go to All Programs (if in XP; just "Programs" if anything else) Go to DivX, then go to Decoder Configuration. Its the middle tab. The first tab has stuff about quality and film effect, the 2nd tab (which is the one u want) has things like Extended Overlay, YUV mode, Double Buffering, and should have the Logo option. I have DivX 5.0.5 and thats where it is for me.
