Adobe Premiere Timeline Help!

Post by Mashu » Sat Jan 03, 2004 3:33 am

I imported the entire anime to work on making the music vid, so the timeline is over 2 hours long.
After I cut out everything and finished my video, the timeline is still over 2 hours long, though only containing 4 minutes of video/audio.
Is there a way to get rid of it? Or do I even have to?

First of your sig is far too big!!!
The best way i find to make an amv is using single-rack editing where you get to monitor windows one for the video source (you just drag and drop the video you want to edit into the firs "screen") and the second lets you preview what you have done. And now to respond to your first q. no, it doesn't matter or it shouldn't. what should happen is that it will stop the video at the end of the last clip or the end of the audio.

If its saying that, Im pretty sure you're trying to use XviD/DivX .avi compressed fotage. Premiere dosent like that, and will punish you severely for trying.

I tryed that once... .. the horror...
