Oh I Just Can't Wait to Release this Video ;)

Well it's finally done. The Bet Video (of doom!!!!111)

I'm sure most folks don't get that inside joke, so allow me to elaborate. At Otakon, I made a bet with MeriC and Trythil. Basically whoever won the "Romance/Sentimental" category would have to make a video using the source and audio chosen by the remaining two editors.

(Un)fortunately, Glory of Love won that category (by a small margin mind you) and awaited their idea. They talked to AbsoluteDestiny and he gave them an idea that ErMaC dared him to do. It was a Vision of Escaflowne video using the "I Just Can't Wait to be King" track off the Lion King soundtrack. I don't think I need to tell you how wrong this idea is, but suffice to say, it was a very difficult video to make.

In any case, since I won the Viewer's Choice Award with the same video a few days ago, I thought it would be appropriate to try and get a copy done as soon as possible. Sort of like a present to you guys, the viewers who supported me. Without further ado:

I Just Can't Wait to be King

I have some gripes with this video, but that's in the description. In short, it's really difficult to make a video that isn't your own idea and I don't recommend it. It's quite frustrating. Oh yeah and this is my first serious attempt at lip-sync and video using After Effects. Hopefully the masks are "acceptable."

YAY!!! It was well worth the wait and suspense. I'm surprised you put so much effort into a gag, bet-induced video! Congrats!

Well, I only got 48 seconds into it, and was already laughing my ass off. "Working on my ROAR!"... HA! OK, I guess I should finish watching it now.
