Hi! I’m new to the AMV forum, but I’ve been coming to the site for a long time now. Anyway, I would just like to make a small request.
I am sending out a request to all the creators for a band I think is heavily under used. They do have videos on the site, but all of them are the same song.
The band I am talking about is 'Blur'. They are huge in Europe and had some reasonable hits in America. Most notably, ‘Song 2’. (the “Woohoo!!” song). ‘Song 2’ is a great two minute blast of power and I love it, but this band has so much more to offer. They have a lot of great songs and I have put some below. I will also put some ideas for each song.
‘Girls and Boys’ from the album ‘Parklife’
There other hit single and a song that fits really well with stuff like ‘Tenchi Muyo’, ‘Chobits’, or any other anime with a strong theme on girls and boys going after each other.
‘Parklife’ from the album ‘Parklife’
It’s a song about being lazy and enjoying it. Would be an interesting video if someone could sync of the words with the characters on screen really well.
‘M.O.R.’ from the album ‘Blur’
A really fast paced and exciting song. Would make a great chase or action video. Also the M.O.R. stands for “Man On the Run”.
‘Coffee and T.V.’ form the album ‘13’
A very sweet and gentle song. Great for ‘Azumanga Daioh’, ‘Pokemon’, or any Studio Ghibli movie.
‘Crazy Beat’ from the album ‘Think Tank’
I wouldn’t be surprised if someone already picked up on this. If their ever was a sequel to ‘Song 2’, this is it. A perfect song for ‘Cowboy Bebop’, ‘sCRYed’, ‘FLCL’, or ‘Full Metal Panic’.
‘The Universal’ from the album ‘The Great Escape’.
A song that would fit with well with futuristic, space type animes.
Well, those are some suggestions of mine. ‘Blur’ has put out 7 albums since 1990, so they have a large library beyond ‘Song 2’. I hope you give these and other songs a chance. Thanks for your time.[/b]
A band request to AMV creators.

You have a point. The song can be sad, but because of the beat and sound, it can be a carefree song also.Rozard wrote:I always thought that Coffee & TV had a darker feel to it, more dramatic than carefree and light.
Maybe it would fit well with ‘Spirited Away’ which has its upbeat and sad moments.
