DVD ripping using DVDx and xvid

Post by ebony412 » Fri Mar 19, 2004 11:36 pm

I've been using both DVDx and xvid to try and rip a dvd but i keep getting these reacurring errors.

Unable to p as an IFO- "D:\\VIDEO_TS\VIDEOTS.IFO"
IFO parsing failed
Warning the output and input frame rate are not equal Pull down (up) will be performed

I'm completely confused as to what to do.

I've never used DVDx, but from the error, it sounds like you need to make sure your output frame rate is the same as that of the DVD footage (usually 29.97, sometimes 23.976).
