Premiere 7.0 and AVS Import Problems

Post by LucidOndine » Tue Jun 08, 2004 6:01 pm

Has anyone else experienced difficulties making an AMV with Premiere 7.0 when importing? I can get the video into premiere, but the video is completely distorted.

I checked to make sure the video quality was ok by launching my AVS with windows media and it played fine. I'm currently downloading the latest avs import plugin from source-forge to see if that works.

The new plugin from sourceforge fixes this problem. Perhaps someone should update the guides ^_^

:o you mean the plugin that people here at the org have made/improved? And the guide that needs updating that, if you read the guide, will notice that it is being updated? btw there is no Premiere 7.0. It is officially Premiere Pro. Premiere 7 is just what they call it on fileshare networks...

Sorry if this looks like an attack... if people just look a little more carefully they would notice these things...

No offense taken--

Premiere Pro is the correct name; I just have a strong feeling that the next generation of Premiere software will need some kind of version numbering system. I agree with some of the file swappers-- 7.0 seems to be the next logical itteration after 6.5 seeing as it is a major release.

Good to hear that the guide is being updated. I was aware of a few people from the org who had active participation in previous Premiere AVS Import versions but I didn't know that they were still involved. Do you by chance have some member names (from the org) that I could send the occasional bug to? Thx.

Once again sorry, I was stressed out... I've gone back onto day shift at work and it is quite demanding than what I've been dealing with for the past few months. Anyways the people who joined that sourceforge project can be found here.

I'm the administrator of that program group so you can send any bug reports to me.

At the moment, the only bug is in the way fps is given to Premiere Pro 1.5
