CRAPPY WMP, CRAPPY

Post by stumancool » Wed Jul 03, 2002 2:44 am

I'm new to this site so sorry if I don't know the "lingo" so if anyone make a big deal of it I'll kill their dog. now down to bussiness, does anyone know of a program that's better than WMP, that I could download somewhere, because I seriosly (SP) hate that program. It makes the video crappy and the sound crappy, why? WHY? so if you know of a program that I could get without having to buy a $500 software package, I would really like it.

do you have WMP 7.1 or 6.x?? 6.x is good but 7.1 comes with XP and can't be downgraded afaik... anyway go to downloads.com or tucows.com and you'll find quite a few media players. I like Sasami2k (still in beta... a bit quirky, desktop mode mostly.... but I LOVE the transparant controls, no border and the fact that it changes 360x240 videos too widescreen ;-p) For mp#s I suggest CoolPlayer And Musicmatch for making them and playlists

6.4 is included with XP, too. You just have to know where to look. X:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\mplayer2.exe
