I'm using some jpg in Premiere. (easy question..)

Post by Teh_Reel » Sat Jul 17, 2004 6:44 pm

I'm doing a project in premiere and for some reason when I use the MJPEG or JPEG Lossless codec the website and the codec name show up on my project after I export it. However if I use AVIs or anything else that moves it does not do it. Any advice on how to fix this?

Pay for the codec.

Otherwise, don't worry about it. That's what I do. :)

First of all, AVI is a format/container, whereas MJPEG is a codec. AVI supports many different codecs. If you're using Windows and using the MJPEG codec to export, you are almost certainly saving an AVI file.

Second, what Sousaphonist said -- buy it.

Third, you shouldn't be exporting in MJPEG anyway (MJPEG Lossless I can understand, but not if it's got the logo on it) -- you should be exporting in HuffYUV. MJPEG's fine for previews, but not final exports.
