The Winged Supremacy

Post by crimsonElegy » Sun Jul 25, 2004 6:51 pm

This is my second amv submitted here. It is based off of the Bourne Supremacy trailer with Gundam Wing Endless Waltz lip synced to it. This was my first amv that I used lip sync, which I found can be really fun. It only took me one day to complete this but that was a very long day. I hope you enjoy it and like always opinions are gladly welcome.

Okay, I'm not as enthusiastic as the other guy.

First off what the hell did you do to the picture? There are black bars smashing up the sides, it should be 720x360, not 360x720, if that is what you were trying to do.

The picture quality was lacking, and pixilated either from the bad resize or the automatic deinterlacing premiere does when you slow down a clip under 100%.

There was no title at the end of the trailer it seemed and the lip synch was off a bit, and seemed a bit forced. The synch with the sound fx seemd a tad bit off at some points. Also the frame rate seemed to jump or skip in motion (motion not smooth), I dunno if that's my shitty computer, but usually everything plays fine in Zoom Player minus the videos in the ogg containers.

Some major issues that this video had. HOWEVER, it wasn't a half bad trailer....if you had put more thought and effort into it, it would of turned out much better.

I can't say that I realy like your coment more than the first guy, but thank you for the criticism, and I'll keep all of that in mind for my next amv.

ok, some the technical issues were bad

interlacing was present but not horrible.

i give the lip synch like 6 or 7 out of 10.

The Bars on the side was really weird. You got it right in the beginning, im not sure why you didnt keep that AR throughout, oh well

Scene selection was pretty good however. I did like the idea you chose and scenes that you edited seemed to flow with the idea of the trailer.

keep working on it, read the guides, and come back with something powerful.
