I am dreading the hell out of this. Its just crap. Why does it have to be made into a live action to begin with, its a perfect storytelling AS IS?! And i am sorry, but plug suits look like shit on real people. Its just...bad. As cool as an Eva unit may look real, i don't wanna see any thing else of it.

1) Since when do online petitions ever work?
2) They've probably already sunk too much cash into it to pull out now.
3) Nobody's forcing you to see the movie. Well... maybe someone's holding you at gunpoint or something, but chances are that's not the case.

Now here's the thing. I'm a purist. As much as I liked, say, the Harry Potter Movies, I still complained about what they happened to change or leave out. But hey, when I watched <i>The Prisoner of Azkaban</i> with a friend, I used it as an opportunity to point him to the books. You may hate the live action Eva movie, but its existence does not negate that of the anime. If you have a friend who wants to watch the movie, show him the series instead, or use it to explain how the series is so much cooler. You can't stop the production of the movie, so do what you can with it.
