Are there any programs available to rip Xbox game footage?

I don't believe that's possible, as the way that Xbox DVDs are made is such that data is read in the opposite direction from normal.

In other words, I think you need to use a capture card.

It's not an easy process.

You basically need to network your xbox to your comp and install a program on the xbox hard drive that will let you read the dvd data off the xbox itself.

Looking at the data is only half the battle, I'm not sure there's a ripper/decoder to even see the movie files.

((Please forgive the double posting))

So I don't have to make a new thread and make a complete ass out of myself all over again, what about Gamecube ripping?

Gamecubes use a completely different standard for their discs. A normal CD or DVD drive won't be able to digest them.
Ask me about my secret stash of videos that can't be found anywhere anymore.

Nearly the same way you rip xbox discs..

Network your GC to your comp and have the data sent from there. This time you don't need to load a prog into your GC, except phantasy star online.
