Generally no respectable editor is going to work for a site other than their own studio.

It's possible I'm not seeing it right, but it definitely doesn't look like he's recruiting studio members. He's looking at it as having AMV editors as "staff" for his web site. Or rather, people that create original content specifically for his web site, which I would certainly consider different from an AMV studio recruiting people to just make videos together.
