Sick of commonly used bands

So many Amvs use the same bands and even same songs. It gets so old. Pick something new and good.

You know a lot of people have legitimate ideas for AMVs using songs they like and far be it for any of us to dictate to them what music to listen to, let alone make AMVs of. I'm on both ends of teh spectrum, while I'm almost done with my System of a Down AMV I also have one (the only video) to Al Stewart. You just go with what you like and have a good concept for.

So I think the suggestion should be changed to do a concept that is "new and good."

I don't care if people use music that's been used before. As long as the vid is well done, I don't care what anime or music. It could even be a DBZ Linkin Park vid.

I have made a new music video with a new band and song that hasn't been used before on here. Float by Bush. The anime though has been used many many times, Rurouni Kenshin (OAV). Please check it out.

I can empathize with a desire to see less over-played songs being used, but at the same time, there are videos where I absolutely hate the song, for whatever reason, but I love the video. Some examples are Larger than Life by William Milberry, and Ignited Solitude by Sierra Lorna. I can't stand the songs by themselves, but those videos kick the ol' inferiority complex into high gear.

Stop complaining! If you're so bored of such AMV then don't look for those! If you really want the creators to go with something 'new' then you should offer suggestion, not a complaint.

anyway...how bout you make some vids with bands that aren't mainstream? (i haven't seen if you have made vids so disregard this if you have already)

anyway...it shouldnt' be about how used the song is...it should be if the creator carried teh song well enough to be worthy of the song.
