I remember hearing about a second season for DearS, but now when I look for it, I can't find anything about it, can anyone confirm or deny this?

to the best of my knowledge the anime series ended and no plans of a second season(although another season would be nice isnt it a grt series 8-) ) and i also though i read somewhere that the manga is wrapping up but im not 100% sure on anything
