Its a tough one. I made an AMV, but it consists of pre-edited footage, along with my own edited footage, from other AMVs. I have the name of each AMV listed in my credits, but have not contacted the members who made them for approval to use their edited footage. Is it acceptible to upload the AMV as long as I have the other AMVs I used as footage listed as footage sources? Or do I need direct consent?

Ideally, you should not upload this video at all. However, if you still wish to, do your best to get consent from everyone whose videos you took clips from. I will honestly say that most people won't be happy with you for taking from others' videos, but if you get permission, it won't be so bad.
Does that help?

contact the original creators about it. if they give with permission or don't respond at all after a few days, you should be fine as long as you cite them. if they say no, don't enter it.
