Voice Actors/Actresses

I just attended a convention, and met Laura Bailey, and was surprised at how nice and down-to-earth she was. I honestly hadn't expected her to take the time to talk to each fan she gave autographs to. Same with Jerry Jewell, Sonny Strait, and Colleen Clinkerbeard. I was just wondering about your thoughts on the actual voive actors/actresses of the anime. If you've met them, what were they like? Or what have you heard about them? So, any comments are welcome.

hmm laura Bailey does the voice of Rayne from blood rayne game i meet her and Christopher R. Sabat

My favorite Seiyuu would be the one who did Hotohori's voice in Fushigi Yuugi. He has a great voice. And since I don't watch dubbed, only subbed, I don't know really any American ones that I can comment on...meh.

I was to Anime Detour con twice and to Sogen con last spring. The voice actors and actresses were all great people. I really got to know some of them a little better at Sogen con. It was a very small con about 400 people, at a small college campus in Marshall Minnesota. There were around 20 guests and we all had a great time with them. They are very humorous on stage and a lot of fun when the panel sizes were only 15 or so people.
One of my favorites is Carrie Savage, she is such a sweet doll of a young lady. Monica Rial is a blast, she is so hyper it's great. Get she and Greg Ayers ( I'm probably butchering the spelling) together and you have controled chaos. Johny Bosh, Who also played the black power ranger on TV, even played an outdoor game of some type, late at night with the other young people. One of the players on the opposite side commented, " how can we win? They have the black power ranger defending their goal." Greg was the DJ for the dance and the guy really rocks, He even blew the fuse on the amplifier.
If you get a chance, go to a con and meet these people. Whether you like dubs or not, it is a facinating story they can tell of their industry and how hard it is to be a voice actor.
