Need help with AVIsynth

I can't figure this thing out at all. I installed every program in the AMVapp but I still cant get anything to work. Guide didnt help either. If somebody would care to help me get started I would greatly appreciate it. I'm trying to upload an AVI movie to fix the color and what-not on it.

i don't know how to get anything to work so you can MAKE the amv, so sorry i can't help >.<

Need some more info... What is it specifically that you're trying to do that you can't get to work?

Load up your avs file into VirtualDubMod and press Ctrl+E to bring up the avs script editor. As described earlier, this will enable you to change the settings on your script and then press F5 to update the image to see the effect.

First of all i do not understand how to make the movie clip into an avs file. Also whenever i pull up the script editor and put in the commands, nothing at all happens when i refresh.

posting your script might help here, we're trying to guess in a vacuum. First off, AVS isn't a movie file type, it is a script file that is used to 'program' AVISynth to do something (most use it to clean vids and resize, but it seems to do a lot of other stuff too).

Type up your script in a text editor (notepad will do) and after you SAVE the file, drag it to your open window of VDubMod and if the script is properly formed, it will bring up your video file (or give you an error message saying something is wrong with your script).

Once you have it loaded in VDubMod, you can then make changes in the AVS file (again using notepad) and after you SAVE them, you can then click onto your VDubMod window and then hit F5 and then the program will reload the AVS script file and update the image to whatever you changed your script to have it do.
