Against the Rules to leave yourselves OPs?

I'm very curious about this cause there's this member who's left himself opinions on every one of his videos, giving himself 10's on everything every single time (and I'm betting that he's gotten all his little friends to give him all 10's too cause theres multiple opinions equalling 10 on videos that arent 10 at all...). Since a lot of the time, I download videos based on how many opinions they have and how high they are, this is really distracting to download a video that has all 10's to find out it really isnt very good. This doesnt exactly seem to follow the code of honor, here. Am I missing something? Why do we even have the option to leave ourselves opinions?

Seems weird to me.

Sometimes, leaving yourself an opinion is the only way to get onto the "<a href="http://www.animemusicvideos.org/lists/u ... .php">Most Under Rated</a>" (not to be confused with underrated!) list (and it's mentioned on that page).

There are actually some people who leave themselves honest opinions that more accurately reflect how good the video really is...

Leaving yourself one opinion with straight 10's on a vid isn't that big of a deal, but if a you create twenty or so false accounts and use them to get your vid on the top 10% list... a mod might take action and take the vid off the top 10% list if there is obvious foul play.

However, we have a large number of members who (A) watch the Top 10% list like hawks and (B) regard it with the same importance as Scripture, and they'll vote down anything that doesn't satisfy them with their twenty or so false accounts and lots of ultra-constructive "omg u sux!!!!1" remarks.

That's how this video is still around.
