Hello to everyone. I just thought I'd drop a line and let people know about Matsuricon 2006. http://www.matsuricon.org
Matsruicon 2006 is an anime and japanese culture convention based in Worthington, Ohio. (Which is for all intensive purposes Columbus, Ohio.) It's set to take place the afternoon of April 20th through the afternoon of April 23rd.
We will be having a AMV contest and would like to see your entries. Info. concerning the rules of the contest are not yet up, but I will post them here as well when they are complete. Rules should be up on the site by the end of the holiday season.

Yo! Hope the Holidays were fun for everyone. I'm the AMV Contest Coordinator for Matsuricon. Just thought I'd say hi and let you know that the rules are on their way. I should have the rules up later tonight.
Also, just a heads up, I'm looking to bring quite a bit of AMV programing to the convention as well. Obviously the contest will be one of the many events. Check back here for more info later on about panels or other events that we'll be holding.
Those of you who attended Youmacon might remember a few of the events we held there and I hope to bring many of them to Matsuri as well. This would include AMVs your Mother warned you about, Iron Editor, and hopefully Hentai Iron Editor as well.
I suppose I should send this shout out now, anyone interested in competing as an Iron Editor in either event, drop me a line here or email me at ngsilver@ngsilver.com and I will send you the needed information.
Anyways, I'm looking forward to 2006, it'll be a great year, and I can't wait to see what new videos you all have to offer ^^

It's that time again. Time to look for judges for Iron Editor. I need 4 people willing to miss any other event running during Iron Editor. You get front row seats and the chance to nag and pester our editors when called upon and submit your commentary on their progress during the course of the competition.
