Is it possible to trim the image of a WMV?

See title... I'm strugguling to find a way to remove subs from an AMV i made using windows media player and I can't figure a way... can anyone help me out on this one?

Yeah I already did and I tried to download Virtual Dub but it seems that it`s not supporting WMV files...

You can't make AMVs with Windows Media Player.

That said, there's a section of EADFAG that shows you how to export from Windows Movie Maker 2 <a href="/guides/avtech/wmm2export.html">a nice video file that's not a WMV</a>.

your clip is Forced Subs ? If not then just find the original one without sub on it and make your WMA.

Your best bet would be to convert it from a wmv to an uncompressed avi, then trim it in Virtual Dub
A program that works good for this is STOIK Video Converter
Get it at http://www.stoik.com/downloads/ under freeware
(you have to provide an email address in order to download it however)

Of course non-subbed material is preferred. Dvd footage works the best.
