though i'm uncertain of how true that statement is, as i'm not a forum regular.


but anyway, an idea that always stuck in my head (but i've never had the time/skill/hardware/money to accomplish it.

i started watching Trigun in 2003, when a friend loaned me his copy of the boxed set. i loved the show, and credit it with starting me on Westerns, but that's irrelevant. much like Cowboy Bebop, i loved the music. the great twangy themes that ran throughout were really appealing to me. and then i got my grubby little mitts on a copy of Dave Matthew's Band's Busted Stuff, and the first thing that popped into my head as i listened were scenes from Trigun. the sound of both bits of music, and the album's sound lent itself well to the whole "dusty west" motif that's omnipresent in Trigun. the ones that stuck out most were Bartender and Where Are You Going.

so in conclusion, if someone with the skills and equipment i don't have could put together something along these lines, i would be eternally greatful. i'd be happy to help in any way i can (except financial, see bit on money above).[/list]
