Need Help finding video footage!

:( I want to make a FMA AMV, and I have the DVD's. How do I get footage from the dvd's or can i go to a website to get footage?

um... what movie editing program works with mpeg files? windows movie maker dosn't work

try here
other than that, Magix and Ulead are pretty cheap (and are widely used)
premiere elements is a bit more expensive, but is also good

mencoder and mplayer

Yeah, mencoder is amazing to process tons of video footage and a myriad of codecs once you learn the basic command line options.
