Trigun vid song suggestions

I want to make a vid to trigun, but the main thing about this one is the goal of my vid is to make vash the stampede look completely different from the way he is in the series. My song of choice so far is sober, the lyrics match the goal of the song pretty well, but I still have some problems with using the song.
Any suggestions?

You're on the right track, but the lyrics to sober and the overall tone are what I am looking for, the person being described in the song are the closest thing that I can find. I want a song with a dark depressing tone, and lyrics with a person describing gereral worthlesness, like in sober, but I REALY don't want to use it, it had probably been used a million times before, and on top of that, I still want to be able to show the vid to friends and family, and Tool is not exactly the kind of band that is family oriented.[/b]

if it's general self-loathing music that you're looking for, i don't know any of the specific songs, but The Cure would be a good band to start looking at.

Finding songs to match ideas is hard for me to do >< the song write the video for me... I have never gone looking for a song ^^ something randomly plays in my winamp and if an idea hits me ^^ I go for it^^

but I got the concept and the anime, all I need is a song, I don't need it to be exactly like sober, just something that can fit the concept. A vash that is seething hate and evil feeling a torent of worthlesnes.

Finding a anime to go with a song is a lot easier then finding a song to go with an anime....I'm currently downloading both Sober and Poem and I'll try to give you suggestions...
