I'm new to WMM, having only used iMovie before (and then only for my own personal projects imported from video cameras) and I wanted to make a Music Video. I know you can't import protected DVDs without special software, but I have one of the Naruto Movies saved on my computer (and since it's already on there, I figured it probably didn't have protection). However, if I try to import it WMM tells me I don't have the right codec. I turned on "download codecs automatically" but it won't download it. It just keeps telling me to try importing again.
Since I couldn't get that to work, I figured I'd just tweak an old movie I made which shouldn't have protection on it because it's an actual movie I filmed and edited myself. I have it burned onto dvd, but when I try to import it it acts as if there's nothing on the disc. I open the dvd and there are two files, one called 'AUDIO_TS' and 'VIDEO_TS', and there appears to be nothing in them.
If anyone can offer any advice as to how to solve these problems I'd greatly appreciate it.
