Definitely original character. In all my catgirl-series-searching travels, I've not seen her.

However, there is a character that... somewhat looks like her. Or rather, fits the "personality" of the image. Karura from Utawarerumono.

I'm a neko fanboy, so I doubt there are catgirls I don't know--unless they're in series that just came out. Or the occasional really old, obscure series like Bagi of Mighty Nature.

It's definately not Bagi! That show was such a furry fetishist expo.

The character looks like they took someone from a show and made her into a catgirl. The tatoo marks for example are reminiscent of Neo-Ranga, and the weapon has a .hack look to it. So unless you get lucky, it's probably fan art.
