Firstly, we have a brand new Gameshow:
Join in the fun as contestants battle it out for prizes and glory as they must answer as many questions as they can in a limited time about AMVs that will be shown! Features like "ask the audiance", bonus questions for points, etc will make things Entertaining for everyone, as you the audience will get a chance to watch AMVs and even get to help each contestants.
Secondly, we are including something new for requests we are going to try out:
Every year in the AMV room we feature blocks where we play requests. As most of the years we relay on the massive Archive to have the video, it's not always there, nor can we find videos when given incomplete information sometimes.
This year HOWEVER, we will have access to the internet and a system that will have animemusicvideo.org LIVE!
For requests, you'll be able to search for a video by a number of criteria and then we know what you want played... And if we don't have it, we will download it on the spot and play it! I'm pretty sure that this is the first time ever in any convention this has been attempted on such a scale!
My goal is to try and have the best AMV Room in Canada and the West Coast
