Movie: Yu Ominae's one badassmothah(shut yo' mouth!) who "seals off" superpowered relics from a previous civilization. His latest mission, after a schoolfriend blows hisself up, has him defending "Noah's Ark" from the evils of a supa-secret U.S. military unit. Along the way, he's assisted by a curiously gruff Frenchman partner, who can't move his arms, but still exudes an Aura Of Smooth(TM).
Eventually Yu gets to conquer the bad guys, kill the man who killed his parents, and party out.
Manga: Yu Ominae's one badassmothah(shut yo' mouth!) who "seals off" superpowered relics from a previous civilization. His latest mission, after he's been assigned to it, has him defending "Noah's Ark" from the evils of a supa-secret Evil Organization. Along the way, he's assisted by a curiously overconfident Frenchman partner, who can't avoid turning into a werewolf, but still exudes an Aura Of Smirk(TM).
Eventually Yu gets to conquer the bad guys, kill the man who killed a friendly minor character a few panels ago, return to school to pass his tests, and continue on the rest of the Striker manga.

Computer games don't affect kids. I mean, if Pac Man affected us as kids, we'd all run around in a darkened room, munching pills, and listening to repetitive music~Kristian Wilson, CEO, Nintendo Gaming Corporation

the little kid isn't a rip off of the kid in bebop, he's one of those freak-babies from akira. yeesh.
and as for spriggan, i saw it. great animation, probably best out there right now. but that's about it. they promised WAY more action then there actually was in the film. and the story some say is crap, but i found it interesting. possibly because of my problem....but it still is an intriguing story overall.
