where I can get the music video version of Metallica's One (ripped). I own the actuall track, I just like that one better.

The "One" video was released as VHS and presumably DVD a few years back, including both the edited and 'jam' versions of the video; you should be able to pick it up from eBay if not from your favorite underground metal mailorder site. Getting the audio from there is a simple matter given the guides.

If you want a free download, though, you may be in for a face-to-face meeting with the banhammer -- iss hier nix erlaubt.

I'm fairly sure it was only released on VHS. The VHS video is titled "2 of One".

Or, you could try to edit down the album version yourself, without the audio from the movie added in. I haven't seen nor heard the non-movie footage video in years, so my memory of it is really fuzzy. MTV.com has the short version available for viewing and iFilm.com (which is owned by MTV, oddly enough) has the long version.
