Meaningless episodes

Post by Denkyufan » Sat Sep 23, 2006 2:29 am

I just finished episode 01 of W Wish and I have to say that it's one of the most pointless episodes I've ever seen.

For those who haven't seen it I'll give a run down:

Brother and Sister talking in the hall at school.
They get called to guidance office.
There teacher talks about how they should move into a school dorm since their parents died in a wreck awhile back.
Brother refuses.
Brother and Sister in park talk about how he acted in guidance office.
End episode.

WTF??? I think it's nessary to explain backstory but to wrap a whole episode around one conversation with the guidance counclior?

Other than this the only pointless episodes I've seen are the Flash back episodes found in many series and several episodes in DBZ where the whole episode is about each character staring each other down before a battle.

What are some of the most pointless episodes you've seen so far?

BTW? anyone who has seen more of W Wish please tell me if there's more to this series, does it actually get interesting?

When a show STARTS with filler, you know you've reached a bad stage.

Reading the review I noticed that he/she voiced several faults I found aswell.

I might give one more episode a chance but that'll probably be it. I can't stand many more pointless episodes

You realise that themanime has some of the most uninformed and badly written anime reviews on the net right?

In the case of this anime however they are pretty correct.

I've disagreed with them from time to time but I'd hardly call the reviews for anime I've seen by them "uniformed".

1 word, fillers
Everything came from nothing, therefore everything is nothing.

There's nothing to worry about.
