2 Requests

Post by Hiro The Dragon King » Thu Nov 16, 2006 12:15 am

1. I'm looking for an anime in which a single person ...or robot, alien, etc... kills or destroys like twenty people in a single setting. Like End of Evangelion. It would have been nice to use that but I found someone who already had for my particular idea.

2. I'm also looking for a rock song, not particularly famous or overused, that portrays somekind of emotion in a dramatic fashion. Nothing emo sounding.

Either of these would help me out.

For #1 up there. I also add...preferably in a bare hand kind of violent fashion.

Not sure if it has to specifically be people, or if monster, demons, etc, count. But in Inuyasha, people are always killing mass amounts of stuff left and right. But if you need it to be specifically people, I think its somewhere around the end of the 1st season where Kohaku kills off all the demon slayers. Then there's the first episode of Hellsing where Alucard kills off a bunch of those zombie vampire things. (I'm sure there's more of those instances in that anime. It was just the 1st one I thought of.) There's Cowboy Bebop, particularly with the Redragon Syndicate stuff. And its not exactly a violent bare hands type thing, but Chise from Saikano tends to take out entire cities.

As far as emotional songs, not sure what kind of emotion you're trying to convey, but there's always "Something I can Never Have" by Nine Inch Nails for kinda a feeling of loss (particularly lost love), The offspring rendition of "Feelings" for hate, "Faded" by Default for hope. I don't know. Emotional songs for vids isn't exactly my thing. lol

for #1, try Noir...plenty of death in that (I think the avg deathcout is around 15 per episode, either by gun or throwing knife)

Gungrave might also fit the bill

GITS SAC has a scene that you might want to use, the episode with the ex-soldier who skins people alive (1st gig, ep 9 or 10 IIRC)

Elfen Lied

that's all I have right now

It's been a while since I've seen it, but isn't there a scene or two in Berserk where Gatsu takes on, like, 50 soldiers? It might have happened somewhere around episode 18.

Samurai Champloo might be what you're looking for too. Mugen and Jin take out much of a town square in the first episode, and Mugen also takes on a dozen cronies in a mine at some point late in the season. Again, I can't remember when exactly, but try around episode 16-18.

There was a Final Fantasy animated movie called Last Order (I think) where there were some decent fight sequences.
