VirtualDubMod.....{<_<" I need expert for this}
If anyone can help me to get over with this <_< (I'm very happy of course ) I need someone right now to talk to me in YH Mssgr so he/she can help me out now. I post my other prob here but in different section guess I got the tutorial, though I have a question and it's not even in the tutorial. So I post this if someone is "expert" in VirtualDubMod.
You can add me @ hyperlittle_noriko you'll see in My Forum Profile. Hope you can help me out.

What Minion means is what is the problem? Can you open VDubMod? If so... that's a good thing. The best help for right now since you are starting to use the thing would be to <a href="http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/ ... Read ErMaC & AbsoluteDestiny's Friendly AMV Guides. It should explain everything. Then if you have a specific question, post it on the forums.

YES I can open the VirtualDubMod and it's working fine. I can see the vid when I DL the AMVapp but the other program is not working like my WMM and my WMA 10. So I ask someone why it's not working "she" (I'm not sure if she's a girl I talk in mssgr) but she told me to uninstall the AMVapp to work my WMM and WMA 10 and it's working now.Krisqo wrote:Can you open VDubMod? And right now I open my VirtualDubMod (of course the AMVapp is not in my drive now) and I import the vid when I open it say like this----> " Couldn't locate decompressor for format 'XVID' (unknown).
VirtaulDub requires a Video for Windows (VFW) compatible codec to decompress video. DirectShow codecs, such as those used by Window Media Player, are not suitable. Only 'Direct stream copy' is available for this video." so I click YES then it play but only the Audio of that video the image of it is not showing
Also the VirtaulDub I try to open it and same it say like this----------> "(VirtualDub - running)
VirtualDub Error:
Couldn't locate the decompressor for format 'XVID' (unknown)
VirtualDub requires a Video for Windows (VFW) compatible codec to decompress video. DirectShow codecs, such as those used by WMP, are not suitable." and it's totally not working.
On the other hand my WMA 10 and my WMM is working gud after I uninstall the AMVapp. But there's another problem facing through me the VirtualDub & Mod.
So tell me what did I do wrong why these two is not working I am really confused to use the Virtual and the WMM both.

The first problem is because you don't have XVid installed on your computer. It comes down with the AMV app so by uninstalling that, you might have taken out XVid... double check to see if it is on your computer.
The second is a thing with Windows. Some programs won't import WMV videos. I don't know the exact reasons, though. You'll need a more knowledgeable member to help you with that. But I don't see what Uninstalling the AMV App would solve.

So how can I know or where can I see if there's the Xvid codecs still in my PC?Krisqo wrote:The first problem is because you don't have XVid installed on your computer. Then you mean I have to install again the AMVapp? And that's why I post that I need an expert of VirtualDub & Mod to solve my problem. Coz I know they will help me out in this matter.Krisqo wrote:The second is a thing with Windows. Some programs won't import WMV videos. I don't know the exact reasons, though. All you have to do is download and install the XviD codec:
http://www.koepi.org/xvid.shtml
Once that's done, both VDub and VDubMod should have no problems opening XviD-encoded AVIs.
I didn't see any second problem that Krisgo mentioned, though.

I can't understand the problem you're trying to express in this post, except that it might have something to do with Windows Movie Maker. Please type in legible English or your native language so that someone may understand what you're saying. Complain all you want about people being 'rude' or 'sarcastic' or what not, but remember that we are under no obligation to help you with your problems, which means that if you want to be helped, you need to make it easy for us to help you.chealsealina wrote:so it's means I can install again the AMVapp nor not? but my wmm and my wma 10 is not working?Scintilla wrote:All you have to do is download and install the XviD codec:
