Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

My Best AMV To date now Available!

Post by MMZ_dev » Sun Feb 11, 2007 9:11 pm

I am proud to present MMZ Studio's best AMV to date so far. I call it Phantom Killing! The link to download my best work to date is below:

Again, I ask for opinions and comments and let me know what you think, Hopefully this beats out my best video, Zero! Zero! and I hope it does too because I had constructed this video with a good plot.

Few faults I would like to point out. Video quality is low because I had to upload it when I first premiered it on You Tube and I was running off of a 56k modem back then. Also, the audio quality might be a bit low too because of it

Again, Enjoy people! This is the last of my videos that I made so far, Until I can purchase a new TV Tuner and a better Video Editing program this will be the last one until then.

If this is your best, I'd hate to see your worst. Work on your sync and get rid of subtitles more consistently. Also work on the video quality. Don't use WMV for starters.

Or at least save in "high quality" setting.

I left the subtitles there on purpose. with out them, I don't think I could have gotten the point across on what I wanted to tell.

And yea, I've realized that WMV sucks, but its all I've got. well... at least till I buy a better vid edit program.

and my worst vid would have to be "Be a Man Conrad!" ...

Subtitles = NO, unless they're an intro or outro. Floating text, arrows and subtitles you made yourself for a comic purpose are fine, but NEVER leave the original subs in the middle of the video like that.
And God spoke unto the Chicken, and He said: "Thou shalt crosseth the road", and the Chicken did cross the road, and there was much rejoicing.

I think by "WMV" he meant "save in a different format for better quality" and Movie Maker can do that with VirtualDubMod.
