Otaku Omaha 2007 AMV Contest
Hey folks!
It's the first year for Otaku Omaha, and we're planning an AMV contest for those talented folks who would like to submit some entries.
The rules can be found here: Otaku Omaha AMV Contest Rules
The only change made to those rules is that I will also be accepting online submissions. The con does not have FTP currently, however, if you have a video hosted on your own server or would like to use Megaupload, YouSendIt, Rapidshare, etc. and have a link to download your video, I'll accept it that way as well provided you also pm or email me with the video's information as outlined on the submission form.
If anyone has questions, please feel free to post here, pm me here on the org, or send an email to raven_horrorphd@yahoo.com.
Happy vidding everyone!

You lied to me ....
6) Since the finalists will be shown to a public audience at the event, all videos should be rated for general viewing and hence not portray explicit nudity and/or excessive graphic violence or foul language. The AMV
Contest Coordinator and the judging panel reserve the right to disqualify any video that is considered not suitable for general viewing.

Not really. Yes, we reserve the right to DQ a vid that we feel isn't suitable for the general audience based on explicits, *however* I can tell you that if it's org-able, it's eligible. We just can't show any explicit hentai or videos that drop the f-bomb every 5 seconds in the audio.JudgeHolden wrote:You lied to me ....
Hope that helps to clarify.

"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson
