Good Anime Series News Source?

Does anyone know of a good anime news source besides Newtype or Animenewsnetwork.com? I want to know if there is a site that announces new and upcoming anime in Japan. I really don't like waiting to hear about the good stuff until it comes out in an amv or on some strange TV channel I happen to click by. I would subscribe to newtype, but that's really expensive. Can anyone guide me somewhere? Thanks

Honestly, I just hear of things by word of mouth and random stuff i see on animesuki. Never really have the time to watch many new things though. =/

ANN does have a link for new manga and anime that has just come out in Japan....it's under the encylopedia.

this is gonna sound odd but...

just google something like "new spring 2007 anime" tons of people blog about what's new and it's a good way to find out what is out there and what people think about it
