Nominations for Worst Anime Fanbase

List the anime you think has the most annoying/terrible fan-base and list why!

I've gotta say Hellsing easily has one of the worst fanbases imaginable. Most of them are creepy fan girls who get off to drawing Alucard and Anderson yaoi which makes NO sense considering the two could not be farther apart in the series. Then you got the retarded weekender Hellsing fans who just take clips from other AMV's, slap it in their own to some dark/morbid song from like Slipknot or System of a Down and call it and AMV. All-in-all I'd say its people like that who give REAL fans of the series like myself a really bad name, which couldn't be more annoying...

Anywho, I think I got this off to a good start, and this is definitely a post where you can rant away so have at it!

My vote would go towards the DBZ fans. When I hear that it is someone's favorite anime it makes me cringe. I know it may just be me but i got some friends that think there is nothing better. lol

I personally don't care for inuyasha, and it irks me that its so popular. Other than that I really have no qualms with it's fans. Other than the fact that they're fans of an inferior anime. Oh, and their AMVs usually suck too. The last con's AMV contest I attended showed an Inuyasha video that was SUCH poor quality that you couldn't even tell what was going on. It must have been 64x48 resolution or something. AND there were obnoxious (and pixelated) [adult swim] logos in every scene. I'm talking worse than bad youtube quality. I've seen a lot of bad AMVs and this was down there with the worst of them. Why they showed it I'll never know. SO many people got up and left (which means I actually got a seat) that it was hilarious. If YOU made that video (at megacon 2007) and you're reading this, you offically fail at life. The end. Berserk for me. I really hate the anime,and I hate it's fans. Wtf with all that s**t? I've watched few vids,that were said that are really good and popular,and it's really crap..

Besides,most of vids done 'bout it,make no sense. Other than that -- fans really piss me off when they start talking 'bout that f**kin' anime..

Inuyasha, Naruto, and Bleach for me.

I used to enjoy Inuyasha until I noticed that it started to get repetitive and boring, but yet all the fangirls I knew who LOOOOVEd it were like "OMG THSI SI SO AWEfSUM" and even for the filler episodes, I also agree that the most overrated show imaginable. "OMG NARUTKU AIS SO OOO EVAL CUZ HE HIDES FOR 79% OF TEH SERISE WOWAH URLL LUVE HIM"

Naruto, this fanbas is so annoying it has turned me off Naruto to the point I will NEVER ever give it a chance, because I don't WANT to like it.

Bleach, I knew some guy who was about as bad as they come. Think of the insanity of a Narutard but replace Naruto with Bleach. Yeah, annoying.

I mean, there are Naruto fans getting off to the characters, some saying they want to have sex with [add Naruto character here.] Are they that unattracted to their own gender?

I mean, the show is already shit enough, but the fans are so fucking annoying.

Along with the Dragonball franchise, Naruto is the most overrated anime at the moment.

Yah the Naruto bad fans are for sure the worst. talkin about how hot all the ppl are ALL the time, THEN you got the ppl who constantly talk about Sasuke being "emo" then you also have the ppl that think sasuke and naruto are Gay because the yaccidently kissed. They all piss me off. oh and the yare all like 10
