premiere effects question.

Ok i just started using premiere and i was playing around with the video transitions. so as i was playing with them and seeing what they did and what not. anyway, i had a few ideas on how i want to use these transitions. say i pick paint splatter. how would i go about putting a different video clip inside the paint splatters? is there a way to do it on premiere? or do i have to go into photoshop and cut out the frames and put them inside the splatter?

you couldn't really use the tansition effect to pull that off - expecially if you want video sequences inside the paint splatters - it would be easier i think to make your own paint splatter mattes and use either the track or image matte keying effects on the vid clips and just simulate the effect by just overlaping the mattes.
