Sousei no Aquarion...
It's a series about one boy,who is reincarnation of Angel Apollonius,who saved the earth 12000 years ago. First episode shows Apollo(protagonist) and his best friend Baron stealing food to feed their friends,as that's probably is the only way for them to survive. When they peacefully eat,a strange girl and a guy shows up in front of them,saying that he might be an 'element user'. They decide to take Apollo with them,to the Deava(main base) for further orders,but he resists,so they use force to make him come. Then,Kelbim soldiers show up to harvest peoples' 'Prana',and that's where you'll see Aquarion(mecha) for the first time. When Apollo notices that Baron has been taken to the harvest beast,he unconsciously gets into the Solar Vector,and forcefully unites 3 vectors into the Solar Aquarion.
After defeating the Kelbim Soldier,Apollo decides to come to the Deava,and that's where the story starts for real. Silvia - the strange girl,and reincarnation of the Celiane(female protagonist and a human,who loved Apollonius and helped himto save the world 12000 years ago) little by little starts to accept Apollo,whom she hated from the start.
Sirius - Silvias' older brother who at first was thought to be the reincarnation of the Solar Wing(Apollonius),but later he understands by himself that he's not.
I think that's enough - everything else is just plain spoilers.
Oh and,it's MECHA!
