Yeah, this is pretty weird ..
All my other Haruhi DVDs ripped except #2, I get this error
Any idea? I think I'll just go exchange this one for another copy at Bestbuy if I can.

This remebered me of a very similar error that I have with my Hellsing OVA 2+3 discs. Must be something like a new copyprotection. They just damage a few seconds. Nice, he? =|
So this thread remebered me about this old problem and hell I love my DVDs and I wanted to fix it. It took me the whole afternoon to get this problem nearly solved. There are just missing some details in the end.
The magic program you need is: AnyDVD
It´s an awesome software with 21days trial. It´s a driver that disables regional codes and copy protection of dvd. It "lies" to the system and make the dvd work.
Because of it. I didn´t need dvd decryptor to get my .vobs from the dvd. Usualy I tend to drag and drop just the files I need with windows explorer, but when you have a copy protected disc, this simpel procedure doesn´t work (please check out this method first!).
Than I had the vobs on my hdd. Thx to AnyDVD! I might buy the program after the trial time is over... Anyway: The blocks are still damaged.
Now it´s time to deal with errors. In the end I came to the solution that it is the best way to just convert every singel vob file into a losseless file. I recommend to clean up this losseless file afterwards intstead of cleaning up the vob. This lossless file is stable... Well here are some things that didn´t worked with the vobs:
-DGIndex crashed, so you would need to use something else than MPEG2Source()
-DirectShowSource("vob1.vob")+DirectShowSource("vob2.vob")+DirectShowSource("vob3.vob")
Doesn´t work: "Some vobs have audio and the other doesn´t." wtf? Bad error
-DirectShowSource("vob1.vob", audio = false)+DirectShowSource("vob2.vob", audio = false)+DirectShowSource("vob3.vob", audio = false)
Still didn´t worked: "Framesize doesn´t match" WTF????
-DirectShowSource("vob1.vob", audio = false)+DirectShowSource("vob2.vob", audio = false)+DirectShowSource("vob3.vob", audio = false)
Laconszresize(720,480)
Error: Whatever.
To sum it up: If the good old script method works than I´m really happy for you. If not: Just convert the vobs into looseless files first and clean them up afterwards with scripts. Maybe you need to do some tweaks like deinterlance first.
