making clips

Just installed Premeir pro CS3, my question is I have my episodes rip and in AVI format, how would I automatically split them into smaller clips

I think only the WMM can do it. but you dont need it. with the trimmer it is much better.

pinnacle has an auto detect scenes or something but I don't know if it actually cuts them up like wmm...

submerge your personality and have Mr Hyde use the little razon shaped button to cut them up for you, then when Mr Jekle wakes up you will see the program has automatically done it for you.
That's about the only way I can think to do it.
