0_o .. why is Mpeg 1 & 2 not allowed to be played in Vis

. after loading, wiping and reloading both the Vista Program that comes with the
Gateway GT-5432 system and the DVD purchased outside the sale of it, I'm a
little confused over these two Video Formats "never" being recognised, accepted,
or convertable as Video Files; .. I've tryed loading CCCP, a few CLID's but nothing
seems to want to work!
. The GT-5432 comes with Vista Home Primium as is my seporate purchase software.

. . . any idea's ??
