So...What is the perfect process??
I just kinda wanted to know.
How exactly some of the pros from the site use AVISynth to it's full potential. What steps do you take in their exact order, to clean up your videos??

On this page of the new guide it shows some things to look out for: http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/ ... tqual.html
I'll probably redo it though, but I dunno when I might get around to it.

When is the right time to use AVISynth?? Along what part of the AMV creation process I mean?? Do I use it on the Lossless file, or do I try to clean up a finished product?? I have both files still on my CPU, but I can't open the finished product (.divx) in VirtualDubMod.

It should be used before a finished product.
As for exactly where in the process you do it, that can depend. You can either filter before you edit your video, or you can filter after you edit your video. If I'm just using one source, or if none of my sources really have any major problems, I'll usually filter after editing, since its easier. When using lots of different sources, I filter before editing, so I can tweak my filtering for each individual source.

So then...If I am using multiple sources, then you suggest the filtering takes place before I put the AMV together in my editing suite??
And likewise...If I am using a small number of sources, then it is ok to filter after the AMV is thrown together??
If this is correct, then I "can" filter my lossless file?? The file is slightly over 1GB. Will the size affect my ability to filter??
