effect question (sony vegas)

I've been trying to do an effect i saw on an amv.He used key frames to make the screen "shake" then he uses movement.I've been trying to use movement while using the shake effect but it seems impossible.He uses the effect 0:00 - 0:02.My second question is from 0:12 - 0:22,he makes the manga look 3d.how did he do that??

for the movment, zoom in a little, and place the "camera" at the bottom of the frame. Then go to the end of the clip and move the camera to the top of the frame. That gives you the vertical movment. Then, make four or five keyframes in the middle the only move it side to side.

For the second part. use the effect, Deform>Shear, and set the values low enough so that it doesn't screw up the whole picture.
