DMC4 - Misconceptions
Not actual video size XD
Made this video for the Weemas holiday o: Quality is good, especially considering the footage is from Cutscenes. No crackles in the audio at least none that I hear, but tell me if you hear any. Uses minor effects, mostly fades, but there are some others in there. Balance between beat and lyric sync, the lyrics i posted on the video profile just in case you can't understand what they say. Made with WMM, but don't cut it off because of that, I did all the necessary cleaning and conversions. It's an action video, and I'm sure most DMC fans will like it, please enjoy. Thanks.
Edit: Thanks to Sayde I was able to make a near perfect quality version, the local file has been replaced. The x264 version is still being uploaded though.

Re: DMC4 - Misconceptions
Winter-een-mas GMV?! ^_^
/gets
EDIT:
Okay, this is pretty good and you're right, making this in WMM does not reflect at all on the video. It was well edited and had pretty good sync. Overall, decent amv with just a little more. I really enjoyed it and will be keeping it. The only thing that I would mark you down on is visual quality. DMC4 looks beautiful and you should work on your quality so that your videos can also have that. I get the feeling that you were working from downloaded footage. Try working from game rips next time or captured footage. Still the video was watchable.
3.7 - 4/5 Happy Winter-een-mas! Nice to see another CADian here on the Org.

Re: DMC4 - Misconceptions
Thanks a lot Glad you enjoyed it.
Your right, I wish I cold capture with better quality but all I have is a digital camera and the quality would've been horrendous with that footage lol. If I ever do buy the necessary equipment to capture video game footage I would replace the video.
Happy Weemas!

Re: DMC4 - Misconceptions
I noticed that you've been making GMVs for quite some time so I'd recommend making the investment. Especially when Blu-Ray drives go down in price, you may be able to rip the cutscenes off of the PS3 games (I'm assuming that you'd still be able to do this with the PS3 games. I have no knowledge of how it works and do not have a PS3 myself, but I just know that you could do this with PS2 discs)godstriker88 wrote:Thanks a lot Glad you enjoyed it.

Re: DMC4 - Misconceptions
You can rip FMVs, however games like DMC and MGS that use cutscenes from actual gameplay you have to record the movies as they are playing Most of my GMVs (PS2 and older) that have FMVs are using freshly ripped footage. Unfortunately I did most of them before I even knew about cleaning up footage and correct compression. A lot of them were saved directly to .WMV and then converted to xvid, making huge loss of quality.LittleAtari wrote: I noticed that you've been making GMVs for quite some time so I'd recommend making the investment.
